Bel Canto Quartet performs for Music Scholarship Fundraiser

The Evergreen Club is a group of men and women who have been involved
in music professionally in the Twin Cities for over 20 years. They have
given scholarships since 1969 to outstanding music students graduating from
high school and continuing on as a college music students.
This “First Annual” fundraiser will be held the evening of Monday, October
24, 2011, at the Old Log Theater in Excelsior. Since most of the musicians’
fees will be donated, as well as the use of the Old Log Theater, this will be
a tax deductible opportunity for you to enjoy a fine performance and support
a very worthy cause.
Among the performers in EIGHT O’CLOCK CURTAIN will be The
Medicine Show Music Company, The Bourbon Street Boys, Charmin Michelle wi
with Doug Haining’s jazz group, the Bel Canto Quartet, and cameo
performances by Cliff Brunzell, director of the Golden Strings. The evening’s
Master of Ceremonies will be the inimitable Charlie Boone.
